I'm So Frustrated

Ugghhh! I am so frustrated this morning! We have internet through Spectrum and it keeps going in and out. This has been going on since I got up at 5am. I try and comment on posts and it just sits there and eventually times out. I have no idea what's going on. I hope everyone had a great weekend and holiday. We didn't do much besides having ribs and barbecue. Very delicious. It was way too hot to go outside. Our temps have been in the 90s and the humidity very high. It's too hot to even sit on our balcony. This is more like August weather. I'm dreading to see what August holds for us. What has your weather been like? Have you been able to go out and enjoy the day?

@crossbones27 There are several users who get errors, some users also posted asking if this can me fixed... surely it's not something easy to do.

@hardtimes1958 I think they changed their Data Provider and some of the servers where data are stored have problem. It's not something that a normal tech guy can fix.

It was so annoying! It went off and on all day, but was fine the next day. I try to type my post on another program I have so I won't lose it but some times I forget.

We had barbecue burgers the fourth of July. Went next door to my son's. It was just him and my daughter in law and I. We had it at 5:30 in the shade, a small amount of light rain fell. It's not humid here. Fortunaely in the afternoons some clouds have come to cover the sun lately so it hasn't gotten as hot as the forecast.I hope that continues this week because we're supposed to get into 90s and Santa Fe isn't used to that. I hope you have better luck with your weather the rest of July. I really hate the heat myself. And better luck with your internet, too. I get very mad when I can't get on the internet. Depend on it for everything.

@simone10 It's supposed to reach 96 here Saturday. BUT because the air is dry I will have mini evaporative coolers going.

@CinnamonGrl I can understand the dry air. I lived in Vegas for five years. As hot as it got there, I prefer dry heat to humidity.

I also have Spectrum and yes we do have the same problems every once in a while, I don't know why. The weekend was good but very hot. Have a wonderful day!

@simone10 I had a lot more problems when I had Time Warner, but since Spectrum took over it isn't quite as bad.

It is frustrating when your connection is intermittent. The weather here is nice. it rained a while ago. Hope you connection gets better soon.

That would be very annoying and I hope they fix the problem fast for you. We have also had temps in the 90's and high humidity. I think we are in for a blazing summer!!

@simone10 I agree on using the oven! It heats the kitchen up so bad that you are sweating trying to prepare a meal.

@kareng Yes, it does heat up the kitchen horribly. We try to avoid it as much as possible. Our kitchen is beside the living room and dining room so it also makes our living room hot.

It was ok the next day. They probably had some kind of problem that day. I agree, we are in for a very hit summer. The bad thing is, when it's this hot and humid, the air doesn't keep our apartment as cool and we have to use a fan. Heaven forbid if we use the oven.

My internet has been acting a bit wacky lately too. Maybe it's a universal thing going on?? Too hot here to be outside and it looks like the week ahead is going to be a scorcher.

It's probably myLot's fault and not Spectrum's. It should work itself out. It's sunny and beautiful here, but should get more hot and nasty later in the week.

Sorry you're having trouble with your internet. Hope it clears up. It's been hot and humid and no change for the foreseeable future. I try to do errands early in the morning before it gets too nasty outside.

Luckily it was ok the next day. Doing errands in the morning is a smart thing to do. I have a feeling we will all be having weather like this for quite a while. We still have August to go through.

Good Morning. I am knocking on wood that it doesn't happen to me as we have spectrum too. I have had to deal with some timeouts in the past couple of days, but they were easily fixed by just waiting a few moments. There was once where the whole east coast had an outage with spectrum. I had to try to find the right number to call and find out what was going on,and that was a struggle in and of itself because there wasn't a clear number to be found. My 4th was spent indoors. It's been hot the past few days. Yesterday it was 96 but felt like 98. It was hot out there. We had a little storm last night.

You are lucky with your Spectrum. Maybe it's where I'm located. It was a very frustrating day. I would have called, but its my brothers account. He was supposed to put me on his account but forgot.

We have had some rain, but most of the time it only makes it more humid. It seems like almost everyone is having the same problem with the heat and humidity.

Here its good raining going on since Saturday night which is very good thing. We can't go outside much because cases are increasing here so better to stay at home.

That is great that you are having a much needed rain. Yes, it is better to stay inside right now. Cases are starting to increase everywhere and I think it's because people are getting careless.

@JohnKu Thanks! It's much better. It still goes in and out during the day but that's normal here. I think it's because we live in an apartment and the connection is not always good.
