Trying to start a new routine

I will be going to bed quickly. I want to start preparing for going back to work.
We were gone all day. I have gotten to come here for about a half hour. Tomorrow, and Wednesday, we do not go anywhere. Thursday we go to Wichita for Bob to get a Covid swab, so he can have a procedure on Monday.
We met with the dietician today. Basically what we gather is that Bob needs to build back muscle.
He weighed on the scale on June 30 for an appointment, and then today. He seems to have gained almost 5 pounds, so that is good.
Hubby wanted to see my son's wrecked car, so we stopped on our way home. Hubby would want to fix it. Son is not so sure. I agree with son.
Anyway, the cats are inside, it is almost dark. I think I will go to bed.

When things going on its way then we are happy as doctor said to make muscles and its start worked. Sorry for wrecking car but if his father want to fix that problem then why your son not like. Is he want to fix it own?

The truck has more things wrong with it than just the damage from the wreck and it might be better in the long run to replace it.

Almost five pounds in about a week. However we all know that we want him to gain muscle for strength.

Yikes, I'm sorry your son was in a wreck. He's okay?
I hope your husband's next procedure goes smoothly. I'll be thinking of you.
I'm pretty glad I don't have any routine anymore. I don't know that I could bring myself to stick to one if it suddenly became necessary. Do you have to go back to work very soon?

My son hit a deer. He is okay, not sure what happened about the deer, his truck is literally all bent out of shape. I will have a half day of work July 30, full day Aug. 4 and some other days or parts of days to prep for school starting back on Aug.17. I am looking forward to it, if we can keep everyone healthy.

That is good that he feels well. Bob was given some instructions for some areas he needs to build muscle.

So in his situation, gaining weight is a good thing?

For slightly more than two years he has been dealing with certain health problems that have caused him to lose weight, become anemic, etc. He had gained partway back then started having issues again and was down to 145 lbs. He is 6 ft. 2. He is 74 and needs some internal fat and some muscle to get back to better health.

@GardenGerty Oh wow, you are right, he does need to gain some weight back. I'm 6'3" and weight 220, so I can see how thin he has become. But I also know at older ages people tend to not eat as much due to loss of appetite, so will you be able to get him to eat enough to put on more weight?

Yes. It is good to have a little extra if you get sick or have other health issues.
