Humidity is 91% in Connecticut

I don't want to complain, but I am going to anyway. Seriously, it is unbelievably sticky here in CT. It's not too hot, last time I checked it was not even 80 degrees but it feels ugly. I woke up feeling hungover and my allergies are acting up. Al had a dermatologist appointment this morning at 9:30. After that, we went out to breakfast. I had to go to the optometrist to pick my new glasses. Temperature and oxygen level check and medical-grade mask, my how the world has changed. Over $800 later I am on my way back home. It is a crazy world we live in right now. We are headed to Vermont tomorrow to visit my brother. In New England, we are free to move from state to state without quarantine. We are all looking forward to playing games and spending time together. Usually, we stop for lunch on the way up but not this time. We will go out to dinner at a restaurant we all like, they are not offering dine in, we will take out. We will be coming back Monday morning to make our dentist appointment Monday afternoon. Our grandson Chris will come and stay with the doggies.

We're in the 40C neighbourhood with the humidity factored in. That is beyond hot and humid, and like you said, just ugly. People with breathing issues are encouraged to stay in with the current advisory we have here.

My brother and his wife have not dined in yet and they are not planning to anytime soon. we will get takeout and it will just be the 4 of us. My brother had cancer a few years ago so they are very careful and we are too. I worry about Al, we sanitize a LOT and wear our masks everywhere. I have way too much to lose to get sick!! I worry about all my friends, I know you are being careful and not going out, Middlesex county is still safer than Fairfield. I do get cabin fever though this change of scenery will do us a lot of good.

@DianneN I know that is amazing news, isn't it!! But my fear is that as soon as anything gets loosened we will be just like Florida or Texas so we will have to stay in phase two until they get the vaccine. But school really does have to open at least partially, Kasey is ready to pull her hair out, she is not loving homeschooling, her job is very demanding and so is Jack!! And she at least is lucky enough to be able to work from home.

@BelleStarr I know you aren’t taking any risks. Have a wonderful time. We are in New Haven County. The good news is that CT has had no new cases.

Here are the rules My county has less than 400 active cases so I am fine for Vermont and you would be too. . Maine has no restriction for Mass.
Massachusetts is dropping the self-quarantine requirement for seven neighboring states.

You should go to the Publyk house restaurant in Bennington. They have deck seating and some seating inside as well. My SIL works there as hostess.

That is a little far from Rutland. We went to Brandon to Cattails and to Toziers in Bethel. We did eat inside at Cattails but they took our contact information and they didn't put people close together.

No quarantine up there? Wow. So the virus is picky about where it's going to hit ... so odd. Yikes, I wouldn't want that kind of humidity, how the heck do you breath in that?

No, we have very few cases in our county and Vermont is second only to Hawaii in the low number of Coronavirus, and by today it may be the 50th state, we felt very safe.

Here at my place humidity not that much but mostly heat but we were so disturbed last two week because of no rain. Since Saturday night its a good rain and feeling well since. Its really tough to do things in such a humidity level as maybe it effect on heath. Look like place you going is not much affected by virus as restaurant are opens but always need to aware. Have a safe trip.

I don't blame you, it is scary. I have done it a few times but only with restaurants I really trust to follow the rules. Bars here are still closed and no date has been set for an opening, in Texas and Florida it led to an explosion of cases.
