The penalized fish vendor with no mask

I was able to talk to the fish vendor. It was her brother who was manning the stall when caught with no face mask. The stall was closed for 1 week as the penalty. The vendor has no regrets and admitted the mistake of her brother.

Is this a recent photo? Are people allowed near fresh food without a mask?

@Alexandoy That is what I thought, because if they penalized the vendor who did not wear the mask I imagine also the clients must wear their mask.

@LadyDuck you are right. Everyone in a public place should wear a mask otherwise you can face arrest.

That picture was taken last January before the virus era. That is in the Sunday market where we buy meat.

@amitkokiladitya the public will learn but slowly. It takes years for everyone to follow the rules. I have seen that in the pedestrian crossing. Since I was a boy we have the pedestrian lane where you can cross the street. But until now I see some people crossing the street far from the pedestrian lane.

Lately I noticed there are more cases in your country. I hope people will keep alert and be careful to it. Here it is still a rule for everybody goes out with a mask.

@Alexandoy Perhaps people are not careful to it like before. Especially it is hot now, some of them may not want to wear a mask.

@rebelann her brother is the best to be trusted but it was an accident to remove the mask. That's a neat lesson for everyone in the market.

@DocAndersen the number of cases in the US is staggering with more than 50,000 new cases in just one day. I don't see it good anymore as if the country is doomed.

In my little town, one of the hawkers was caught not practicing physical distance of a metre at least and got fined a couple of hundred dollars.

A couple of hundreds are probably nothing to these hawkers as the cost of living is high in my country. They could make it back with 50 plates of chicken rice or something like that.

Two things: 1) nobody in the photo is wearing a mask. Have they not learned their lesson? And 2) That's the funniest looking fish I have ever seen hanging there in their stall.

Is that the man that was shot down because he had no mask on. He should have worn a mask but he didn’t deserved to be killed. If I was his sister I’d be mad and upset as the dickens.
