@LindaOHio I think I caught up on that missed night. I have taken a short 40 min nap yesterday and today I slept for almost an hour after we got back from doctor today in Baton Rouge.

Yes, I worked in Customer Service for 10 years; and this is totally unacceptable. Get some sleep!

@LindaOHio Yes, it really is. Businesses used to care about customer service, but they don't anymore.

Such a difference in the way business used to be conducted.

@simone10 A few years ago I complained about the taste of a can of soup. The powers that be told me it must be my taster because the soup tastes fine.

@LindaOHio Oh yea, I needed the raised floor the toilet sits on be taken out to make the floor level with the rest of the bath. The guy told me it can't be done. I got the other contractor and they had it out in no time and had the new toilet installed before leaving for the day. Some people just don't want to work to make their money..

@gr8nana6 No they don't. That's why it pays to have 2 or 3 people come in to look at the problem. If they show up that is!

@LindaOHio This has been very unprecedented for me, as I have always been a very upbeat, happy and positive guy, even in the midst of trouble or worry. But something's changed lately, and I have been feeling anxious and down a lot. I've been stressed and worried about work, and I can feel that my health has been affected by it. And of course, with my health being affected, I start to worry about that too, and the vicious cycle starts. I have been seeing my doctor and he thinks some short-term meds will help. I also set an appointment to see a psychiatrist so that I can at least try to get to the root of the problem. It's one thing to treat symptoms with medicine, but it's another thing altogether to find the root cause to try and address the problem.

@LindaOHio I'm not afraid or ashamed, although I will admit that it took me a long time to come to that realization that I didn't need to be a macho man. The first step to getting help is to admit help is needed. I've now taken that first step. I want to be happy and healthy and live out a long life. I will do whatever I need to do now to make that happen.

Yes, they could call and say they can't handle the job, they're too busy, etc. I hope the anxiety meds do the trick. You always struck me as being a very positive kind of guy.

@LindaOHio Yes, that seems to be the thing. Glad business is booming for some people at least.

Seems like this year they have more work than they can handle. We're lucky the guy across the street cuts our grass because no one has the time this year. Apparently you have to call in the fall to get a landscaper lined up.

No one has called. We'll see what happens on Monday.
