Good Afternoon,
I had my interview today it went well but they did tell me they hired someone this morning. Not sure why they bothered to schedule me an interview if they were going to offer someone the position before interviewing me. They did say they might be having another opening soon. Not sure when soon will be but who knows. I'm not going to worry about it, I will just keep looking.
The sun is out and it is still warm, maybe a little less humid then yesterday but still quite warm out there. That is alright, I plan on staying in for the rest of the day.

Glad the interview went well, and sorry to hear that they filled the position already. But hopefully something opens up there soon for you.
Do you have a Home Depot near you? You should apply for a position there. They are hiring like crazy right now, and they are very supportive of hiring veterans. It's a great place to work and the company culture is amazing.

@Bensen32 I'm on the MET team at my local Home Depot. Been there for 4 years. Great position. Definitely better than all the other store positions. The MET team associates have set schedules. I'm part-time, I work 5am-9am M-F.

@moffittjc Yeah, I remember you talking about it before. That is what I like about the position is it's schedule. I did let her know the reason I would not want to just take any position is I know most companies have a waiting period before you could change positions and I would like to see if the position she thinks is going to open on MET is going to come available first.
Who knows what will happen but I would rather take a position I think I would like than one that I am not really interested in.
