Good-Bye July and the Flying Dog

Happy Friday Everyone! it's the last day of July and tomorrow a whole new month starts. We have a drizzling rain here today and we need the rain badly. As long as it doesn't get to be torrential downpours I'm happy.
Nothing and I mean absolutely nothing new here. It's the same old same old just a different day.
My daughter is off from work and I know she needs to work on her Etsy shop so she'll probably spend most of the day upstairs in her office/craft room.
Poor Gizmo is still having trouble with his leg since he torn his ligament. I really thought he would be doing better by now but he's really struggling and can't really put much weight on his leg. My daughter bought a sling so now when she carries him outside it's a bit easier. He's gotten used to it but at first he was scared and I guess he thought he was going to fall. Now he just looks like he's flying when she picks him up. All four legs are straight out and it's pretty funny. He has to go back to the vet on Wed so we'll see what the vet says about his progress.
Since it's a rainy day it seems like a good day to catch up on 90 Day Fiancé which I've been binge watching.
I also need to catch up here a bit so I'll do that while I have my coffee.

Aw, I was hoping for a much better update on Gizmo. Hopefully there are no setbacks when the vet takes a look.

Thanks Jeff. Gizmo is a trooper but it's easy to see he's having trouble. I hope he doesn't need surgery

@Marilynda1225 I hope no surgery is needed either. That would be tough on both you and the little guy.

Gizmo has his follow up on Wed. He seems to get a little better and then has a setback. He's a very docile dog so it's fairly easy to keep him calm and not jumping around but I feel bad that he's not getting better or maybe I was just expecting quicker results and this is normal.

I guess it's going to take time for Gizmo to heal. I'm just hoping he doesn't wind up needing surgery

This has been a hot day, but not as bad as announced, tomorrow should be the last very hot day.

Gizmo is a trooper but I feel bad that he's obviously having trouble getting up and walking.
It isn't as hot here today and I think the rain brought the temperatures down.

Good morning, happy Friday, and goodbye to July day!
We had rain last night, and it is sunny today with some clouds.
Poor Gizmo. He must look hilarious in his sling, but that's a great idea. I hope he heals quickly.
It's a new fiscal year, and hubs and I were very pleased with the increases in our pensions considering the times.

It's been raining on and off. I made a quick trip to drop something at UPS between showers.
That's great to hear your pensions increased especially with the state of the economy.

@Marilynda1225 It's cloudy and hopefully we will have more rain.
Our son is popping over to borrow our big pizza spatula. He stopped by yesterday, too. I love it when we get to see him. He's very serious about his new girlfriend and thinking marriage down the road. She spends Wednesday night and weekends with him. We love her! I hope she will change his mind about having babies.

Jax has a problem with one of his legs too..not sure what happened to it, but he doesn't like to put weight on it. I hope Gizmo feels better.
