Covid is Real

I got some bad news lately. Two of my colleagues died because they were infected. I am not sure where they got it but the work place is alarmed these days especially those people who had contact with them.
I feel sorry that I cried when I heard the news. One of them was close to me and he loved my kids. He was like an Uncle to them giving my kids gifts during Christmas and even helping them when they need some materials in school.
Now I can say that the "fear is real!" Whenever I hear news about people getting infected, I felt heartbroken and scared but now its different because the feelings become intense.
I hope that it stopped there and no one gets infected by them.
Do you know someone close to you who died because of this virus?

@cherigucchi that's the problem with this virus. young and old, healthy and unhealthy can succumb to it.

Thankfully, I do not know anyone who passed away during covid. However, there was a passing of someone I know. It was my cousin's grandpa. He was 96. I was very sad when I heard the news.
I can't believe some people think covid is a hoax.

I have heard of close people passing due to Covid-19. I agree with you, it is real!
