I have told you in other moments that a big part of my friends are writers. Dixie has written more now as she has more time to write. In my country just a few writers can live writing or being artists of any sort.
Today Dixie sent me some of her new stories and one if the short stories was about a smallpox pandemics in Chile a little over 100 years ago. Our biggest folk musician, Violeta Parra, got infected with it but survived. Later on, she wrote about it in her songs and poems.
Dixie is now writing about the smallpox pandemics and Lili about this one. She sent me some of her stories to read. All this reminds me about painters and writers of all times wanting people to remember times of peril.
I only hope it ends soon.

I've just read a short script about the Spanish flu plague years ago. There were a lot of parallels with today's pandemic.

I have a feeling that COVID-19 will be with us for a least another 6-12 months. The serum should be available at the end of the year.
