Snowing Cocoa?

Today, the residents of the small Swiss town of Olte, woke up to "black" snow. Fine particles of cocoa powder were falling on their houses. The mystery was soon solved. The ventilation system at the Lindt & Spruengli chocolate factory suffered a malfunction. The ventilation glitch, combined with the strong wind, caused the cocoa powder to fly into the air. Lindt reassured that the particles were completely harmless. The ventilation has been repaired, the factory production was able to continue as normal. That is reassuring, we are not going to suffer a chocolate shortage. Do you have a favorite brand?

I'm in shock seeing a post from you! Forget about the chocolate. I would have run outside with a big bowl to catch the chocolate. Any Swiss or Brussels chocolate is fine with me.

@LadyDuck We are TWINS for sure! If there is ever a malfunction with a ventilation system, please let it always be at a good chocolate factory!

What a surprise that would be to wake to a cocoa covering on everything outside. I like Lindt chocolate, it is very nice.

@LadyDuck I cannot imagine it being safe to even think about ingesting any of that cocoa snow. But the end product, that is so nice. Its good of them to look after the clean up, they would be the best ones to know how to safely get it done.

Lindt informed that they are going to pay for cleaning, there is no reason to "lick the car".

@LadyDuck Absolutely, but not the one that they send to us in the US, I have thought about ordering them directly from Belgium where they are so much better. I love pralines.

@BelleStarr I have tasted Swiss chocolate in Italy and it was not very good. They have local plants, they should check the quality.

That must have been quite a sight to see cocoa powder falling instead of white snow. I do love Lindt white chocolate truffles.
