@Juliaacv wrote a discussion that mentioned her son's third wedding anniversary, and it made me think of my mom and dad's actual wedding. Incidentally, had my mom lived, she and my dad would be celebrating their 44th wedding anniversary this month. I'm glad they got married so young (she was 16, he was 20, she had already graduated high school) since my mom died so young (at 55).
Anyway, so after the reception everyone walked out to send my parents off in the car waiting for them to go on their honeymoon. My dad opened the car door to let my mother in, and...a frog popped out. Then another. Then another. A total of fifteen frogs were in that car. One of my dad's groomsmen thought it would be hilarious to put frogs in their car right before they left for their honeymoon.
No, they did not end up taking that car. Someone else had an extra car, and luckily their luggage had been in the trunk, and it wasn't affected.
I really can't believe someone would do that. Thankfully, that didn't ruin anything about the wedding, but it did cause my dad's family to distrust that groomsman ever again.

That is just hilarious!
My Dad always told his younger sister that when she got married he would get out the manure spreader for her special day-brothers!
She got married in July at the farm where they grew up. And just as they were about to be pronounced husband and wife they heard a tractor coming up the road, and yes, he had a manure spreader behind him.
But of course my Dad had nothing to do with it.
My aunt and uncle planned on driving from Ontario out to Quebec for their honeymoon. It was a very hot summer that year, and my Dad thought it would be fun to put some fish in the hubcaps of his car. As they drove, with the windows open (there was no a/c in those days) they got quite a smell. That wasn't all he did though. He put lindberg cheese on the manifold-again when it heated it created quite a smell in the summer's heat, and to finish it all off he took maple syrup and wrote just married on the back windshield of my uncle's car, then he put confetti over it. It was stuck like glue. And that car was my uncle's baby.
And 3 months later my Dad and mother had the nerve to marry, but nobody did anything, although a few tried to.
He always told us that practical jokes are only played on those that we love.

@AmbiePam My Dad was such a joker.
When I got married, he and my mother showed the perfect hospitality.
They had my Dad's truck at the hall to bring home the larger decorations and someone played a trick on him.
they jacked the truck up just about an inch from the ground, so that when he put it into drive, the wheels didn't take him anywhere. And there he was at 3am in his best new suit getting his jack out to fix things. All the while there were 8 couples waiting to party the night away with him and my mother back at the house. And the next afternoon when my hubby and I showed up to open our cards and gifts all of those people were still there-still partying away too. It was very memorable.

Wow,! Your mom must have been so smart, graduate at 16 and married too!
What a wacky prank. Where did they ever find all those frogs?

@FayeHazel It was in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which is prone to floods, and you get a lot of frogs and snakes with that. My grandmother remembers finding a snake in her shoe after one such flood.
