Good afternoon,
Just another day around here. I slept for about 4 hours last night, so I ended up taking about an hour nap. I answered some notifications and watched a little of the show I been watching.
The good thing about waking up at 4 am was I had forgot to turn off the AC so I did that and opened all the windows and there was a nice breeze. It was off till about an hour ago it was just to hot in here and no breeze, so I turned it back on. At least I was able to save about 8 hours or so of not paying for that.
Many of you may know that I was born and raise in Chicago and still try to keep up with what is going on there. I have since moved but I still like to know what is going on, I know a few people that still live there. So this weekend the shooting went down a little, there was only 64 shootings and 7 deaths. I mean that is like less than 2 an hour so there is that. Great job to the Democrap mayor Lori Lightfoot, that talking and take no action plan is really working.

I hope you start sleeping better soon.
It's too hot here to turn it off. Looking forward to cooler weather for sure! But grateful to have ac anyway.

It's got to be stressful for you to see what has become of Chicago and what continues to go on there. And sadly, probably nothing will ever change. The people there probably think Lightfoot is doing a great job.

@Bensen32 Even in the downtown business district it's not safe?

@moffittjc Not anymore, like a week ago looters hit the gold coast.
Videos show large crowds breaking windows and entering stores along the Magnificent Mile, in Gold Coast, in the Loop and in some other Chicago neighborhoods....
