Pistachio

Pistachio is my favorite nut.It is not common in the Philippines though. A kilo of it may cost you $20 or more. My aunt usually sent me a bag of pistachio. Cracking the nuts is a challenge. That's why I use hammer for that. I also notice that when I eat a lot of it, I get pimples. Pistachio is very common in middle east that is why it is cheaper there. How much is pistachio in your country?

I love pistachios also.. they can be a little bit expensive here too I do not usually have any problem with the shells, I break them apart with my teeth!

yes Pistachio have a hard shell and are dry fruits . Used as toppings on sweets.

@Janet357 yes I like them. But they taste similar to ground nut. you need to eat a hand full to get some real taste . Cashew nuts are better option.

I like almonds too. Right now, am eating Ferrero Rocher and there is an almond inside it. I like the chocolate not because of anything but because of almond.

Pistachio sold here come from Iran, a kilo is about $12, I like those nuts but I prefer almonds and hazelnuts.

They are among my favorite nuts. I buy them out of the shell to save my teeth even though they cost more. I also love almonds, cashews, pecans, peanuts, and walnuts.

I have been given some, but I have never bought any so I do not know how much they cost. I get the ones that are already salted and the shells are partway opened.

I can't eat nuts anymore, but when I did I loved Almonds the best. Never did like Pistachios

@Janet357 I have dentures, but can only wear the top. So I can't chew anything hard or I will cut my lower gums, which is sad because i loved eating nuts.
