Found some unusual hacks to make our life a little more efficient. Looking forward to seeing if these ideas work.
Have you tried any of these Life Hacks before (Tips)? What do you think of these ideas?
Cleaning with Duct Tape
That's right. There's another use for duct tape—cleaning. The stickiness of duct tape makes it perfect for removing pet hair and this method is faster than vacuuming. It also works on seats in vehicles. A sponge wrapped with duct tape works great for getting into corners. Wrap duct tape around a paint roller, sticky side out. Roll the paint cover over furniture or carpet to pick up the pet hair. Add more tape as the surface gets full of hair.
Homemade Heating Pad
Next time you have a sore neck or back, and don't have an electric heating pad, try this instead. Fill a sock with uncooked rice, tie the end and microwave it for two or three minutes. Ah, feeling better already.
Cheap Planter Upgrade
Use cut up sponges to combat root rot from water settling at the bottom of your pot. The sponges also work to retain moisture and prevent the water from escaping out the bottom of your container.
I wonder who thinks of these things? Might be worth seeing if they work...
A Life "hack" refers to any trick, shortcut, skill, or novelty method, that increases productivity and efficiency in all walks of life according to Wikipedia.

Nothing wrong with a little pet hair. As long as you can find the couch to sit on. I have seen those videos.! Amazing what they can do with those pipes. Saw one for a bike rack.

Yes, the duct tape is extremely sticky but never thought about using a paint roller. So clever!

I've made the rice hot pads, but not the others. Thanks!

@dgobucks226 It worked out really well. Just be sure to use long grain rice.

Yes, that's my opinion too. I try to single out ones which make the most sense to me.

Many people here have mentioned the alternative to the heating pad one. I've yet to try it. I can see the duct tape and paint roller working. It also covers a larger surface than a lint roller would. I like the planter one. I should give it a try.

Rice does not stay warm long, there are better things you can use to make Heating Pads, what works better are cherry pits, but also dried whole peas and whole flaxseed.
Those things were written in old granny books and now YouTubers are sharing.

The paint roller is good, but I just buy the big rolls of pet hair, lint remover, already on a roller, just tear off when used.
The heat pad is of interest.

The paint roller idea may be a cheaper alternative which is a plus. The heating pad idea would be great for warming the feet on a cold winter night

I actually do the duct tape thing, but I use blue painter's tape instead. It's much cheaper to buy than duct tape, and works just as well. It's also easier to work with than duct tape.
