Long Day and Typical Yicky Monday!

I mentioined the other day that my mom is not sleeping and her walking through the house and piddling all night keeps both me and hubby awake or wakes us up. I have been finding odd things in weird places so I know she is getting into things she should not. This is worrysome because she could get a butcher knife out and hurt herself. Or she could start a fire on the stove. There are endless possibilities. I started thinking about the restlessness and remembered that last year around this time she had a UTI and was almost dehydrated. So hubby and I decided to take her to the ER today and have her checked out. It was a good thing we did because she was dehydrated and her blood pressure was elevated. They ended up admitting her for the night and we will see how the new blood pressure medicine words out. She was confused and didn't know where she was so that was worrysome also. They did not let me go in with her but kept me posted via telephone. My husband and I waited in the car for four hours to see if they were going to keep her. I called to check on status and the security guard checked and said she was being admitted. Then 45 minutes later the doctor called and said she would probably be admitted. She was supposed to call back at 9 pm but I didn't hear from her. So that is how my week started out. I hope yours was better. The photo is of the geese that were at the hospital today.
