So... The pets have been sufficiently sat on and I am now home again. It is good to be home, though there is nothing like opening the bedroom door and seeing one (or all) of your furnieces and nephews waiting for you. I watched Guy's Grocery Games and Chopped most of the weekend. I was reading when I wasn't watching television. You feel spoiled when you are able to pause the tv, I assure you. Now I'm home and need to get back into the grind. I feel so refreshed even though all I did was go from one end of the county to the other...

Yes, they are so sweet. Binx (a black cat) loves to go outside when the dogs do. He will sometimes listen to the same command we give the dogs to come in which is "bring it in". Other times you have to walk over and nudge him with your foot.

@LadyDuck Yes, they definitely like to be very independent.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Cats are more independent, but the cat of my neighbor listen to what I say.

I laughed when I saw that you the pets had been "sat on." I fully know what you meant by that, but I couldn't help but laugh anyways, my mind visioning you sitting on a dog riding it around the house like a horse!

Unlike you, I have no idea what the heck that means. Thinking it may mean babysat or looked after.

@lovebuglena It might be a Southern thing? I don't know. I've said it when referring to kids too. Just means that I finished petsitting.

I've caught some episodes of GGG. Interesting show. And I love Chopped. I've just finished watching Chopped: Beat Bobby Flay.

I like GGG & DDD, but I like GGG just a bit better. This was my first time watching Chopped, I watched last night's Chopped: Beat Bobby Flay and liked it.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Last night's Chopped was the finale episode. There were four episodes before that one.

Thank You. It was really nice, but I did miss waking up this morning without three dogs and two cats greeting me. Especially Binx with his "It's about time - I want to go outside" meow

@LindaOHio Yes, they really are. Wilson, the border collie, gives a really good puppy dog look. I let him sit on the couch with me and when i told him he had to get down, well he fixed me with this "But why?" look.

Oh, they always are happy to greet me when I arrive. I was talking about after spending a night there and waking up to one dog laying against the door and a cat standing there meowing at you as soon as you wake up.

Yes, there are 5 of them in total. I do not watch television often either. I had nothing much to do at her house but read, crochet and watch tv.

Even though you didn't go far it was like a mini vacation. Just a change of scenery can work wonders
