This is a snack food here in my country. It is made up of a soften or silken tofu, tapioca or sago pearl, and an arnibal (sweet syrup/sweetener). This is very common here and every morning a vendor on his foot/pedicab sells this on the streets.
I remember when I was young, there is one vendor who always go to our house at the same time everyday to sell taho to my family. I love taho.

The first time I've tasted this was when I was a kid while we were on summer vacation in Manila. We didn't have this in Mindanao and I didn't like it. I was even surprised why my cousins who are also my age would die for it. As I grow older and studied in Manila I was exposed to taho again and that started my liking. Now it's also sold in Mindanao. It's now a favorite of mine.

That sounds interesting... I've never had any of those ingredients. (I had to look taho to see what it was made of and then look up the ingredients to see what they were.
)
The article I read said this snack is available from street venders in your country. If I ever get to visit the Philippines, I will give it a try.
We have ice cream trucks that go through every neighborhood some time during the day. Kids and some adults will go out and get their favorite ice cream from the vendor. (I like vanilla ice cream in a cone with nuts and chocolate on top.

@amitkokiladitya no. since there are many left over when we finished eating it when it arrived, I put the rest inside the ref and later on we ate it chilled. We just tried it though not expecting that it will be good also

As kids we were not allowed by our parents to eat street foods but we siblings learned to eat a lot of street foods during our teens. I taught my children to like and appreciate taho because it's delicious and healthy except for the sugar.
