Not sure why I failed to share before. But about three months or so ago I finally broke down and traded in the old 2011 Ford-F150 for a newer 2018 F-150.
I simply could not pass up the deal.
The old one was starting to have Ecoboost problems, the radio stopped working, and the freon needed a recharge. Plus it was well over 100,000 miles.
Found this white one. Just an XLT but has heated mirrors, navigation system, heated seats, and many other features. Plus it only had 26,000 miles on it, and over a year left on the factory warranty.
$32,000. That was it. I thought it was a steal.
Did fantastic as well keeping the payment down by putting $14,000 down on it. My payments on the old one were $300 and this one is only $389, although I pay them $450 per month to help pay it off faster.
My old truck was silver. This one is white.
Right after I bought her I added a tonneau cover for a measely $700.

It's a nice looking truck I do have to say. One day we will own a truck so we can help people move & one day we want to get a camper we can travel with also. But that's not a priority right now for us.

You are too funny!
I bought the car I'm driving now (Buick Le Sabre) six years ago for $7,000. I paid $2,000 down and paid it off in a year and a half. I have no idea how many miles it had on it or how many it has on it now. (I put about 15,000 on a car a year.)
It is still running very well. It does make me mad, once in a while, because the driver's window quit working last year. I hate going into a fast food place to order food to take home and won't use a drive-thru since the window doesn't work. (I can't find any shops here that will work on electric windows. *sigh* The mechanics all tell me to just buy a new car.)
I usually drive a car until it croaks. Minor repairs are fine but a major one means it's time to go car shopping again.

It was, and knock on wood, so far I am really happy with it. I am hoping to get a lot of miles out of it. I tend to keep my vehicles a long time. The Ford Sport Trac I had before the 2011 I had for 13 years. I only got about 5 out of the 2011 F-150 before I was done with it. We'll see.
