Room Mates

I don’t have a human room mate but I share my room with 3 small cacti, one Calamondin plant, lemon grass, a rose, and alpaca-vased plant. Plants are living beings so I do consider them as my companions. Watering them gives me a sense of responsibility and seeing them prosper gives me a sense of pride.

Great roommates. No arguing, they probably don't make much of a mess and they wont eat the last of your food.

I actually live with another Filipina with her family but we don’t share a room. Yes that was me. Now I have a mattress and a cabinet as well as a mirror.

@hereandthere it’s just a house divided into 4 segments. My housemate and I share the same entrance. We got no curfew.

They are still a good companion to you. You can also talk to them but you will never get a response.

I do talk to them and say nice things. Study shows plants grow better with positive talk and music.

@flapiz They're very cute, aren't they? I saw them close-up at our Royal Show. It was quite warm in the shed and they had fans going all the time to keep the alpacas cool.
