It's Finally Done

I was finally able to pick my brother up yesterday. I meant to do it Monday but didn't have time after my appointments because the funeral home closed early. The picture above is what I bought while I was there. There is a place above the dragonfly's head that screws on and off. There's just a very small opening to put teeny tiny bits of him. The guy at the funeral home went in the back and did it for me. This way I will always have him with me. I bought a chain from Amazon and should get it today. I don't like the black cord. I know this can creep some people out and I did have to think about it for about a week myself. I don't know if its right or wrong, I just went with my heart, so I guess it's right for me. The picture doesn't do it justice as it doesn't really show the detail but it's so beautiful.

There are celebrity siblings here and they each has this pendant, inside which, they put a.tiny bits of their.father. It is a good way to.feel your brother's memory.

If it makes you feel better it is right. I have known families to divide up into necklaces and bracelets so that each had the person with them.

Anything that is right to feel better Sharon is fine. This is a pretty dragonfly and you feel closed to your brother knowing that he is with you.

If it comforts you to have that then it is a good thing.

I love the idea of having a loved one close, and your choice is a very nice one. We would like to be cremated also, and when the first one goes, our son will keep the ashes until the second of us goes. At that time he plans on having our ashes blended and made into a diamond. It might sound way out there to some, but it is a very private and personal decision.
