Good morning. Daylight has come to Green Bay, Wisconsin. In a short while, less than an hour, I'll be leaving for my pre-op physical. So, it starts, and I'm excited to get this surgery on Monday. I have appointments Thursday and Friday too, with a COVID-19 test on Friday before my appointment to numb my knee. It's going to be a busy three days. Or not. Tomorrow will be with Joint Camp, a three-hour appointment.
Okay, I know you want to know how I did yesterday. I think I did well with both food and fitness. Here are yesterday's numbers.
Food
Calories: 1376
Carbs: 45%
Fat: 30%
Protein: 25%
Uncategorized calories: 66
Fitness
Steps: 17,888
Miles: 6.8
Activity/Exercise: 95 Minutes
Water: 4.5 Bottles
Calories burned: 2348
Total calories: -972
Weight: 181.6
My calories were less than the day before by 2 ounces. Today it's up again. I'll be so glad to get off the medication. I think I did okay with my fitness. I wanted to get more minutes of exercise, but my back protested, so 95 was the best I could do yesterday. Overall, I think I did well. How did you do with food and exercise yesterday? Thanks for reading. Image courtesy of Pixabay.

@crazyhorseladycx This is what I was fighting those plateaus for. As long as I see the word obesity on the doctor's papers, I'll keep fighting until it's been eradicated from said papers. I still have a long way to go. I'm not done fighting for my health.

Thank you. I don't know anything about it either. I know if they're even half thinking about sticking me with a needle in my knee, I'm not going to be happy. I shouldn't be surprised they're doing a COVID test before surgery.
Thank you. I worked hard to get this far. Even the nurse told me she was proud of me this morning for all the weight I've lost.

No, I'm not worried about it especially as my son honored a request and brought me a hot dog and fries back from Elgin with him yesterday. It's only the best hot dog place I know and even though it's a day old, it's still delicious.

Covid test has become mandatory for any hospitalization or surgery these days. Have a good day. What kind of surgery is it?

Thank you. I've actually gotten lower. My low is 179.8. I'm up a little today, but I know it's the medication for the surgery on Monday.

I had a fair day I think, boiled eggs and raisin toast for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch and yogurt for dinner. No snacks.
