My car is fixed. Vincent is now Vince.

Yesterday I wrote that Vince nudged a rock wall with my car. He became Vincent for the rest of the day because I was upset with him. Today we picked up our main vehicle, a Toyota, from the panel-beaters. They did a marvellous job and also cleaned the car inside and out which was a real surprise and a nice bonus. Vin tried to punch out the panel on my car but it was too hard to get to so he took it to the same panel-beaters to get a quote on fixing it. The car is over 20 years old and we really didn’t want to spend a lot of money on it. However, they took it into the workshop immediately, pulled the panel out and spray-painted it. They’ve given Vince a bottle of the paint and he has to apply some polish then touch up the marks. And all for $20. Vince gave them $50. He thought it was well worth it to get back in my good books. Can you see my reflection in the car?

You really shouldn't let him drive your car anymore. At least then if something happens he wouldn't be to blame. Or maybe encourage him to drive it so you can get more parts replaced ..... hmmm, do I sound like a meanie? Yes, I do see your reflection.

I can't really say if I would let a man drive my car, I am single so for me there is no way I would let anyone drive my car if I am in it @JudyEv

He doesn't drive it often. At the birthday lunch, after it happened, he said 'Judy will have to drive home'. I replied 'I'll be driving home but I'll be leaving you here!' So it was a bit fun although being very annoying. But it looks good again now.

That is quite affordable. I would have paid way more than that. I hope Vincent is now Vince

It isn't worth paying a lot when the car is so old and hardly used. But it was certainly very cheap - and very kind of them to do it so quickly. We've given them a great review.

It's nice that it is fixed. Everyone would have thought I pranged the car. I would have had to write 'Vincent' near the damage and draw an arrow to it.

$20? That's unheard of! I would have given them $50 too! I'm glad Vince is back in your good graces.
