Just another day.
Did you see the debate last night? Wow, I never really sat down and watched a whole political debate before, I usually just watch the highlights and move on. I watched this one and I have to say I’m glad I never got on the debate team in high school. That was more like my kids when they were little arguing back and forth. I was waiting for the moderator to send them to their room.
I even found myself telling Trump to shut up. I don’t think that is the way we want our two Presidential candidates to behave.
My take on it is, again Trump acting like a spoiled little brat. He said a few things he didn’t need to say. He avoided a few questions I would have liked to hear the answer to. Biden did like Democrats do all the time, saying Trump is doing all the things that they are doing. He got tripped up a few times but with Trump interrupting all the time I don’t know I can really blame him. They both got into name calling of course Trump did that more.
I don’t know that if you are on the fence about who you want to vote for, that helped either way. I know that by time it was over I was happy about it being over. They both annoyed the hell out of me.

I have my own opinions about the debate. It would take too long to type here. I do want to ask you, do you think Trump will be reelected?

@LeaPea2417 I think Trump still wins reelection because he has actually done very well for the country policy wise. BUT, I think this narrows his win quite a bit and maybe won't be the landslide victory I thought he would have before the debate.
This performance did nothing for him at all.

Childishness, Trump is extremely domineering and spoiled. It was embarrassing!

@Susan2015 You are not wrong, I think both of them had a bad showing in this.

I enjoyed the banter.
Probably because I'm used to this kind of 'noise'. I have a very large family, and most times, we talked over each other.
And amazingly, most mothers, hear each of our children and understand clearly. During the debate, I selectively 'hear' the substance and facts discerningly. So, all good.

I am still supporting Trump and he still has my vote since it is the policy I am voting for and the massive list of accomplishments this president has had over the past almost 4 years now. BUT, the performance by Trump was horrible, and I simply cannot deny that no matter what my political leanings are or any biases I may have.
But to be fair Biden did not perform any better. Telling a sitting president to shut up is lacking in decorum equally.
I was not happy, mostly because first of all, Trump has his accomplishments to rely on. He did not need to act in the way that he did. It did not look presidential, it did not look like he was in command, and the fact is, what these debates are supposed to is help the 5-7% of undecided voters which way they want to go. Those are who ultimately determine the outcome of an election.
I think Trump failed in every way to deliver his message and sway anyone not already in his corner INTO his corner. I was disgusted to say the least.

Fair enough points. I found it entertaining. Probably because I anticipated the worst for Biden's gaffes. He actually, did quite well through to the end. Well, fazed a little bit with confusion about where he finished off in every sentence.
While, President Trump, he's always been that way-- pushy-- so, I anticipated that of him.

@everwonderwhy I am usually entertained by a debate, and was particularly entertained by the debates in 2016. This one did not entertain me at all. And considering my stance and what I believe in, and my strong support of Trump, the fact that I was not at all entertained was very telling to me.
I am a political junkie, and this debate left NOTHING for me to be desired. I was disgusted, literally, and still am over it.
It was not a good show at all. And I continue to be ashamed by Trump's performance.
