I’m Frightened

This morning hubby and I have to go out into the real world for the first time during the pandemic together. We each have lab visits for our next frightening venture into the real world for doctor appointments next week. Of course we have been out before, but far from the maddening crowds. We have had to fast since bedtime, but can both do without our morning coffee and breakfast until our return. We will be wearing masks and gloves, get our temperature checked, and wait outside until called. Once we return home, we will wash our hands, our clothes will go into the washing machine and we will take showers. Neither of us want to contract COVID-19 like Trump! ~Photo of the ice princess wearing one of her fancy masks~

I couldn't handle it every week, but they did follow strict protocols which gave me a big sigh of relief. I was so happy to return home.

I know that you are careful Dianne. I wash everything every time I go out grocery shopping. I throw my mask, my gloves, I wash my clothing and take a shower. Better to be careful, particularly right now that the cold weather is back.

@DianneN I collect the mail wearing disposable gloves, I place the mail on a small table and it stays there 24 hours before I open the envelopes, take out the content and throw the envelopes. We are careful.

Thanks, Anna. We do the same, too. Also, we have to be careful with packages and mail, too. Everything!!!

They did a very fine job with all the safety protocols, so I was a bit more relaxed. No one else was there, so that helped, too. Now that we are home, I feel so relieved!!!!

Children over two, but I wouldn't take a young child out at all. Heck, I don't even take myself out much!

We canceled our routine checkup in June, but we really should be checked out. We usually go every 6 month. The lab followed very strict protocols, so I felt safe. We were the only clients as it turned out.

@DianneN Ah yes... No one seems to understand " let's keep her at home as much as possible" lol. No, I know. Some of it is needed. Others of appointments they happily let her have online. I'm happy that it felt safer than you thought it may

I hope it all went well and smoothly! I have only gone to the dentist - and I actually feel safe there - and would at the doctor's offices (for the most part) too. They have practiced cleanliness and health safely well before this, so they would know how this all works (I just wouldn't trust other patients and their possible behaviors ). Oh geez, that Orange guy . . . it finally happened to him!

@DianneN Will think of you on Friday . . . we will hope that everything is fine! Yes, he needs to disappear. It's like we're living in this weird nightmare - it's like is this guy for real? Just when you think it can't get any worse - oy!!
