I Got Mine Today

I missed clinic last week, as a matter of fact it was on the same day I called but I had gotten the date October 6th. as the next drive by clinic date, however when I called today for the time they said nope not anymore, check back later.
I usually got the flu shot there for $5
So.....
I went to Publix and got it for $25 and a free gift card that I could use on the spot, so the shot this year cost $15. Oh well, at least I got mine and I am protected from the strains it includes.

Cheaper for me to go elsewhere, I have to pay for the doc visit, and the shot, so $15 beats $100

When you are old like me, Medicare will pay for it. Not for the shingles shot, though.

I have never had a flu shot and I don't remember the last time I had the flu, I think it was in my young adulthood when I still worked in NYC, I like the song but never heard it before,

Nope, don't do flu shots. Took one and it was the sickest I have ever been in my life. It was the only time I had the flu. Only reason I took it was work place offered it free. Almost 1/2 the company was out a week from the flu, including me.
I'll stick to what has kept me healthy through flu season all my life, avoid crowds as much as possible. Take a shower when I get home from being out in public.

I saw a sign at Meijer yesterday that said "Meijer flu shots available now."
I wondered if Meijer flu was as bad as COVID-19 or the Spanish flu.

Haven't gotten one yet and still thinking about it. I haven't had one in the last few years but it might be a good idea to get one this year.

Got you got your flu shot. Where there a lot of people getting them? Do they ask you questions when you get yours and do they weigh you? When I talked to my doctor last he told me that the public cannot get them yet. I will be talking to him hopefully next week to see what is going on.
