I am not typically a fan of older B and W movies. I just usually find the dialogue off putting, and don't like watching things in B and W. However, I did watch a Halloween scary type movie that dated from 1945 last night on TCM. It really helped to have the host introduce it and tell what it was about though, because if I hadn't had that background information I would have probably gotten frustrated. The movie had Michael Redgrave and Sally ANN HOwe, both of whom I seemed to dimly recognize. Do you enjoy very old movies?

I started watching the original Odd Couple last week with Walther Matthau and Jack Lemmon. I saw it in the Drive in when I was a little kid. I didn't find it very entertaining though and switched it off.

I really don't watch many old movies and usually prefer something more current

Yes, from back when movies really relied on stage storytelling (rather than CGI)

I love old movies. Some of them have come to Netflix here and I watched Gone with the Wind again and want to watch others.

There definitely is a market for it, or TCM wouldn't exist.

Some of my all time favorite are old classics especially those based on classic books.

I just find I can't relate to them very well. The other thing is that everybody is smoking all the time!

@snowy22315 If it is a well made one on some good book and they do justice to the book and portray of characters, I enjoy it. Though we can not relate to it in present scenario.
