Not in the mood for anything today

Today is cloudy and feels kinda gloomy. I am in that state where I am not in the mood to do anything. I wasn't even in the mood to go online, yet here I am on mylot. Just logged in. Maybe being here will perk me up.
Whatever I needed to get done, I guess I can do later in the day if I will be up for it. Or I can do it tomorrow. As long as it gets done that's all that matters. Though it is better not to procrastinate.
Saturday we usually go out to eat somewhere. Not sure if that will happen today. Depends on the weather for outdoor dining. But as far as I know indoor dining is still allowed. I believe it's at 25% capacity. So maybe we will be able to dine indoors somewhere. Of course, we can always order takeout but I'd prefer to dine out somewhere. Doesn't have to be expensive.
Tomorrow is hubby's day off. I doubt he will suggest anything to do and we will just stay home as usual. On Wednesday, I told him I wanted to go check out a new supermarket that opened up near us. Thought maybe they'd have stuff we need there on sale. He said he didn't want to go. I asked him what he wanted to do that didn't involve sitting in the car or laying on the couch all day and he said nothing. Didn't suggest anything he wanted to do or that we can do. I guess he didn't want to do anything.

Well, I did manage to wash the dishes just now, so that's good. Can't say my mood is that great though.

Thanks. Today hubby went to vote and then he left to go to a Trump car rally. Not sure when he will be back. He didn't say. He didn't even tell me he is actually going to the rally. But when he was leaving he had a Trump baseball cap on and he had a Trump flag with him, so I assumed that is where he went as he told me there is a car rally happening today.

@LindaOHio He was gone the whole day. And he didn't even tell me he is leaving for the whole day. Didn't even call me at some point during the day to tell me what's up or that he is gonna go see his parents after.

It happens from time to time that mood gets in the way so l guess give yourself a break in tue meantime and let this mood pass away. Just don’t hold on to this feeling last long in you. In time you’ll get this feeling gone and be back to your old self again.

@lovebuglena That’s a start already. Sometimes it starts with something simple like that to boost your energy up again and bring back that mood up. Just take it easy.

I have days like what you are experiencing, and it's hard to get motivated to do anything. On those days, I usually find something to distract me, like myLot or something. Sometimes it helps get me going.
Sometimes, you just have to use a little humor, like this....Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow? LOL

@lovebuglena Exactly! If you keep putting it off until tomorrow, then eventually you will just realize that it wasn't that important to begin with and didn't need to get done! lol

Sometimes on days like these I can't even get myself to go shower.

LOL if you say to yourself you will just do it tomorrow then tomorrow will come and you will say again you will just do it tomorrow... and on and on. And then it never gets done. Or takes forever.

There is a whole kitchen counter of dirty dishes, cups, pots and pans, etc. They need to get tackled soon. Even if I hold off the laundry until tomorrow I can't keep the dishes till tomorrow. Oddly though, dishes are the one thing I always do, even when I don't really wanna do them. If I don't do them right away it is the same day that I finally wash them or the next morning. Wish I was that way with cleaning the house.

@Nevena83 I kinda was but then hubby left to go to a car rally and that kinda bummed me out. I thought we'd go somewhere together and do something fun. Maybe go foraging for mushrooms. That is not gonna happen. I don't even know when he will be back.

Thank you. I put in a load of laundry to wash. It is drying now. There is more stuff to wash but don't want to do that now.
