Today was not fun at work. Have you ever heard the saying, work smarter not harder? Well, I think a few of my co-workers think the saying is work harder not smarter and they live by that. I just don’t understand people who do not think through their work and find the easier way to do things. I have found this to be true with at least two of them and they make the job so much harder than it has to be. I was working on a project with them today and they were really pissing me off. I hate having to move things 3 or 4 times because they are not thinking the whole thing through. For some reason they are thinking they are working faster and they are not cause they have to keep redoing things or moving things around multiple times because they are not planning ahead. Hoping I do not have to work with them tomorrow. We got our first snow of the year last night. When I woke up this morning it was snowing out. It did not stick to the ground or anything, but it was snowing. The ground temperature was still to warm for it to stick. Hope you had a good start to your week.

I guess it i really hard to work with people who doesn't value time specially of other people time. And I think it is hard to work with people who doesn't want to listen also. It is hard to work with people who always think they are ahead of you, or will always think traditionally- and improvement is not their cup of tea. It's hard to work the smart way when people just want things their own way, but come to think of it, it's just work and we're just doing what we're told to do, because they are the boss.

Well it's one thing if the boss tells you to do something but when it is the co-workers that just is hard for me to listen sometimes.

@Jlyn10 Yeah, yesterday me and another employee that feels the same as I do talked to the manager about it and she said she was going to cover it on Monday morning when we have a meeting.

@Bensen32 People/businesses sometimes get caught up in their 'old' ways and don't think about how they could improve their productivity or whatever.

I think that 'word smarter, not harder' is a nonsensical phrase made up by some human resources nitwit to justify his/her existence and huge pay cheque!
