Ear Infection

I have an announcement.
I hate ear infections.
That is all.
Oh, wait. We need longer discussions than that. 
I don’t get them that frequently, for which I am extremely thankful. And, also thankfully, this one seems to be quickly responding to the antibiotics and the steroid nasal spray.
Of course, the spray makes my throat hurt, and....
Oh, well. At least we don’t have to “talk” when we chat here.
I hope no one has one of these nasty things. If you’ve had one, you probably understand my disdain.

I remember when I was a kid and had an earache my mom would soak a bit of cotton with camphor oil and put it inside my ear canal.

I remember those days, too. Then I’d have an asthma attack from the smell of the camphor. Just can’t win sometimes, can you!

Not sure if this can help, but one friend got help from taking a little honey, and others have been helped by a bit garlic they have put in the ear inside cotton..

I hope your ear infection heals up quickly,. I also hate them and the worst I ever had made me lose my balance it was in the middle ear, That was ages ago but I was working then and had to get home on the subway feeling terribly off balance,

That’s worse than the pain. Thank God I don’t have dizziness from it. I have felt no pain that I wouldn’t take in place of being dizzy. THAT is how badly I hate feeling dizzy.

I’ve had a tube in this ear before, so it’s a recurring problem. But never to the point of a hospital stay.1 person likes this

I get ear wax buildup 
I've had the doctor do that syringe thing a few times over the years to loosen the wax I stupidly made worse by trying to use a Q-Tip 
Anyway, at least it wasn't an eye infection. Great tune, Oh yeah!
