Does your life need a reset button?

Sometimes, when I'm particularly down in the dumps it occurs to me that what I really need is a reset button. What if we could actually do that? What if we could rewind our lives back to that point in time when we made that horrible mistake and it all went wrong? What if we could redo our past decisions and get it right this time? That would be a great thing, wouldn't it?

More than a reset button I would love to have a "rewind" button. Let me go back in time and change what I did wrong.

Maybe if we all wish hard enough it will happen

With how 2020 has been going, we need to reset the whole year.

I'd like a pause button, so I can put my feet up and not worry about anything for a while, but not lose any time

I can use both a reset button to take back any stupid things I say without thinking them through. And a rewind button to get a do-over on past mistakes made...

You're not alone there - I could also use one

There are days I would agree, and days I wouldn't. While I would love to redo past mistakes, in a sense we do. We can't repeat the past but grow as people so we hope, don't repeat the same mistakes in the future.

Yes indeed, we should learn from the past but sometimes (definitely in my case) a decision made in all good faith in the past turns out to be one of the worst decisions we have ever made. That would a great use for a reset button!

I used to think that but I realize that to undo the big mistake would mean all the good things that happened after the mistake would be gone too. Nope just need to readjust current thoughts and realign.

The thing is - you could make things worse. There's no way of knowing.
