An adventure on the beach

When we attended the endurance ride at Boat Harbour in Western Australia, we drove out to a beach area where the horses would go. Although the beach itself was firm sand, the track leading to it was deep, dry sand and we managed to get ourselves bogged. Luckily, a young man came along and towed us out.
When we went back next day, we let the tyres down a little which made all the difference. You can see the beach in the top left photo; also a mob of emus which we saw in a paddock and some pretty blue wildflowers which were prolific along the sides of the road.

Cool images! Sorry you got stuck. Wow. I wonder ... it looks sort of like the sand might behave similar to how snow does if you drive in it

@FayeHazel Someone else said that except that you wouldn't let your tyres down as an aid to getting out.

@crazyhorseladycx Some of the young ones almost look to get stuck just for the fun of it. Some older guys do too!!

the sand in your place looks wet sand. It is easy to walk on wet sand

Yes, all the sandnear the beach gets wet at high tide but where we bogged the car, the sand was deep and dry.

It made it a lot easier than digging it out or lugging branches to put underneath.
