Oddly enough my post about socks for chair legs brought in more responses than any other for me here. My average might be ten to fourteen, but I've not figured it out that's just a guess.
The rest of this week is supposed to be sunny and warmer than normal. Right now my crew is finishing the outside windows of a home we do and will return another week for the inside. I'm not working with them so my foot can rest and heal.
I realized this morning that my heal problem is from an outbreak of plantar fasciitis and not just from the wound itself. I've started exercises to alleviate the pain and maybe by tomorrow will be back down to one cane rather than the two I've been using.
When they're done with this job I'm hoping to do another one and maybe another tomorrow after my hubby and I return from Ann Arbor for his last appt following surgery last year. Our we could choose to work Fri morning instead.

We're warmer this week too, getting up to 70 before it drops on Tuesday next week.
I'm sorry you have an outbreak of plantar fasciitis. I hope it gets better soon.
It's good to work while the weather is nice. I hope the appointment goes well.

At least I now know it's plantar fasciitis causing my for and shin pain rather than the wound itself which is what I thought before. It at least I'm pretty sure if the cause especially since when I do some exercises it helps a lot.

It does look better but I won't know for sure until I see the wound specialists again on Thursday.

@LadyDuck we do discuss well and it takes a long while to run out of words. So that's good.

I've not quite done using it yet but I'm hopeful that I can in the next day or so. I was able to be cane-less last night for awhile. I think my slippers are too flat with no support.

@porwest I think it's going to mean having time off from work. The benefit will be I can rest my foot more and get paid for it in the process even though I don't have any vacation time left until April.

@crazyhorseladycx cuz I have a wound that's not healing yet. Actually it's called an ulcer on the side of the same foot. Up to know I thought my heel was hitting from where the ulcers were located but I think it's from ill fitting shoes and compensating.
I believe my heel hurts from an outbreak of plantar fasciitis which came from not walking correctly for the last month. Since I've realized this I've forced myself to walk normal again. It still hurts but not the way that it was just a few days ago. Maybe by next weekend it'll be healed even better depending on how I do at work.

So far my foot seems better when I can walk heel first. If I walk like I'm on heels then it's not so good any more.

It's funny how some posts get more attention than others. Guess it just depends on what attracts someone's interest.
Hope your foot gets better

Now that I know the cause of my heel pain and have done some exercises to alleviate the condition my heel is much better. I have today and tomorrow off from standing and that should help too.

Maybe it was due more to the day off the month it was written rather than the topic itself. I know everyone is out and about at the end of the month trying to fill their mylot banks

That's okay. You don't have to find it. I edited this post as it was about socks for chair legs not sick as it said at first.
