I understand there's a thankful challenge going on. That's awesome as there is so much to be thankful for every day.
I started my thankful posts a year ago on November first. Many of you said you wanted them to continue past November. Here I am a year later still posting them.
Today, I'm thankful for the nursing staff at the hospital. My nurse today was awesome. Great personality.
I'm thankful I'm now in rehab. It's the same place I was with the last knee replacement.
I'm thankful the therapist saw me right after I got here and was impressed with how well I'm doing.
I'm thankful I got my notifications done twice today and could visit with you and see how your day is going.
That's my day in a nutshell. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. Chalk pictures on the sidewalk at the Botanical Gardens.

That's all very wonderful to hear. And this year has gone by pretty fast even with all the craziness! I am glad you continued the thankful posts though. I would join the challenge if I knew I would post daily. Very nice photo! And I am thankful that my Grandpa has his infusions scheduled to start on Monday.

@just4him 16 lives lost. A village was covered by mud. Trees were uprooted. Houses were flooded with water.

yepperz, 'lways somethin' to be thankful fer e'ery day. i know some folks struggle with such. i'm quite easily 'mused though'n thankful fer the teensiest 'f thingies. like seein' some 'f my grape hyacinths peekin' out 'bout 4" tall. poor confused dears much think such 'tis spring 'lready, lol.
wonderful news from ya, hon!
i'm thankful fer the visit 'f a mockin'bird. i dunno why, but we've not many out here whilst my sweet momma'n town's lots. so, 'tis a rare treat. thankful the water still flows through pipes, givin' my back'n shoulders a much needed break. sunshine, interestin' moon, the way the dried grasses 'n weeds 'cross the road took'n an orangey-peach tone nearin' sunset.

@just4him yer welcome. more mockin'birds 'gain today. most 'ncooperative fer pic snappin', lol. when we went nearly 3months with no water, 'twas durin' the winter. partly the hubs fault's he kept tryin' to fix that which 'twas not broken. the other bein' that the well diggin' folks took o'er a month to come out. the pipes 'bout 300' down'd holes (o'er 30yrs'n the ground) 'n the stress 'f such'd burnt the pump. they'd such pulled, replaced 'n repaired'n 'bout 6hrs...
here's the moon :)

@crazyhorseladycx I'm sorry the mockingbirds were uncooperative. I guess they didn't want to get their pictures taken.
Okay if they repaired the pump when they were out, why is there so much trouble with it now? Or am I missing something?
You're mooning me.
Very nice picture.

Thank you. I'm glad to be here.
I'm glad you saw a mockingbird and the water is still flowing through the pipes. I hope it keeps up. You don't need to lose water during the winter months.
I'm glad there was an interesting moon last night. It sounds like a very pretty night.

I am thankful that my work with the Survey Junkie site is successful in having me make at least $5 dollars a day.

@Deepizzaguy I rarely qualify for surveys. It's good you qualify for many of them.

@just4him The idea came when I realized that taking surveys for a period of time does pay off in the long run.

Yes, there are a lot of things in our lives for which we can be thankful.
At times, we forget to do that.
How is your overall health now?

Overall it's good. I'm dealing with a wrecked back due to the mattress in rehab, but it'll get worked out when I see the chiropractor next week.

I think the challenge is a good one. And, I've been responding every day to yours. I think it's a good thing, actually. A reminder to us all to stay positive even when it feels hard to do so.
So here I go.
I'm thankful that, despite looking like it might rain, the weather held out. I'm thankful, for a new day and feeling better. (It started out crappy, but that's okay, too.) I'm thankful our cats seem happy and healthy.

You're welcome. With everything going on in the world, it's easy to lose sight of the good things going on in your life.
