We spent the night in the seaside town of Busselton, Western Australia. We attended a play put on by a school. Our friend’s daughter took part in the play which was very enjoyable. It’s amazing how talented some of these young people are. One of the leads also wrote the play and she is only 16. I’m sure she has a bright future ahead of her.
We had the chance to wander the street s for a short while and it seems more and more towns are opting to display random statues/sculptures. These are incredibly well done. The creases in the shirt and trousers of the man rolling the barrel are very lifelike.
Top left is John Garrett Bussell who was the founder of the first European settlement in the area. The woman is a tribute to all the pioneer women who put up with incredible hardships during their lifetime. Timber-working was a major industry in the area for many years and the man rolling the barrel is a tribute to the sea-faring community.

@JudyEv Actually looks like someone poured some fast setting stuff over a real person in all of them.
