Smoked Chicken for Dinner

Could not resist this smoked chicken from the deli of our local grocery store. Had to run pick up up a few things earlier. They were just taking these off the smoker.
I never buy these from the store. I always make my own. But I could not help myself today.
The meat has now been taken off the bones and in the refrigerator.
Forgot to snap a photo before I took the meat off the bones. Not my photo.
Will probably have a sandwich shortly for dinner. And I plan to make some chicken salad.
There was a ton of meat, it was a big chicken. It will make several meals.

I did not know it was possible to get smoked chicken in the states. Smoked chicken is very popular in Latvia and it can be bought everywhere. We used to smoke chicken in a garden smokehouse in Latvia,

It’s nice to take the easy way now and then.
Hmm I can’t even think what I ate for dinner. I know I got groceries so I had to sanitize them when I got home but I don’t recall what I ate. I think I actually didn’t eat anything but had pie for a bedtime snack.

I did a roasted chicken yesterday that was already seasoned and in the bag so that all I had to do was stick it in the pan and put in the oven. It turned out so moist and good and there was some left over with plenty of flavorful chicken broth that will be used in another meal (should have put it in the freezer to save till Thanksgiving to season the cornbread dressing)

I'm sure it will be good. We get rotisserie chickens from time to time. I used to bake my own but not so much lately. I don't get them much because we prefer dark meat and there's not much on chickens. I do cut the white meat for sandwiches though.

Is a smoked chicken the same as the rotisserie chicken? Cause I like those from market basket. Lol
