November 22 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It was a very good day today. I have a lot to be thankful for, but I'm only going to choose one major thing for which I'm thankful.
This is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad, thankful, in it. I'm thankful for going to church this morning. I only told two people I would be there so it was a complete surprise. It was great to be welcomed back by my friends and get my hug meter filled to the brim.
It was also a sad day for one of my friends who lost her husband this past week. And even though it's a sad loss for those left behind, she acknowledges her husband is in the arms of Jesus, a much better place.
My pastor even welcomed me back from the pulpit. I really didn't expect that. Even during the sermon, when I can't keep my mouth shut during those Amen times, Pastor looked at me and said, It's really good to have you back. Yeah, it was one of those moments. 
So, yes, with all I have to be thankful for, going to church this morning tops my list.

@just4him We heard that a prominent citizen in our community has covid, and Frank isn't doing well. Please, add Frank B. on your prayer chain. I've known Frank almost all my life:(

i'm so tickled ya finally got to go, hon. know such did yer heart, mind 'n soul good. no doubt y'ave been greatly missed. kinda jealous 'bout all those hugs.... 'tis really been a diff'cult time fer's huggers.
thankful fer the drizzle that came'n went from wee early hours 'til 'bout 1ish. didn't measure to nothin', but did calm the dust. 'twas chilly out, thankful the winds 'd taken a break. got some knots out'ta some manes 'n tails, a couple 'f corrals tended without bein' 'ngulfed'n clouds 'f....well, ya know - a mix 'f horse poo 'n fine dirt. thankful fer the lil dark-eyed junco's who came back (thought they'd moved to warmer clime) to 'ntertain, 'long with some others.

I'm glad you had a good day and the drizzle kept the dust under control. I'm sure those ponies are happy to have the knots out of their manes and tails. I'm glad you enjoyed the dark-eyed juncos.

I am thankful that I was able to reach my goal of getting more than 1,000 points on Branded Surveys will make me eligible to send my request to Pay Pal this week.

It definitely was. I'm so glad to be back in person. Watching the live feed on FB just isn't the same.

I'm thankful I was able to wash a little of my kitchen floor today. Maybe tomorrow I can finish it. I'm thankful my husband helps get me my meals even when he doesn't need to.
