I wanted to pop in today to wish my lovely American Friends a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Be thankful that you have survived Covid -19 and hopefully before long when the vaccine is available to everyone we will once again be able to return to some semblance of normality.
Be safe. Cherish your loved ones. Enjoy your day!

thanks fer the well wishes 'n the giggle o'er yer pic, hon. my sweet momma 'tis fixin' dinner 't her house, e'en though i'd told her i'd not be comin'. 3 folks with auto-immune disorders 'n covid runnin' rampant'n these parts jest don't sound a good idea to me? i'd thought we'd clear the air 'bout turkey day, havin' such later, gather young'uns from out'ta state. but, nope! she called me last eve to say she'd changed'er mind, bless her. the hubs'll go pick goody plates from her later today... i can't go, the temptation to hug that sweet woman 'd most likely win.

@garymarsh6 i'm a big hugger, so's my sweet momma. last i saw her i caved'n hugged the stuffin' out'ta her. that heartbroken look'n her face, tremble'n the voice 'n tears streamin'. how could one not? i cannot wait fer the day, mr. gary. thanks much ~

It is not such a big thing over here. We do celebrate harvest festival by donating food to schools and churches who then distribute it to those in need!

Thanks for the well wishes to. We will be celebrating alone for the first time ever in the history of man this year and with a rotisserie chicken and save the turkey we got for Christmas with our kids.
Our kids are with their in-laws.

I am doing fine thank you although l suspect somewhere along the line l have been bitten by a Tsetse fly
as l get so sleepy at times! Sorry you will be alone but that will ensure next year thanksgiving will be even more joyful for you and all the family. Have a lovely evening.
