Hubby wanted both turkey and ham. We will have a lot of food in the freezer clear up to Christmas, I bet. Both meats are done. I have made fresh cranberry sauce. I will be making roasted Brussels sprouts. Dressing is in the oven. I made mashed potatoes. I am not changing a lot of our traditions, except I will not make gravy for noon or rolls. I made pumpkin pie filling in glass cups, left off the crust. If we were with family there would be a lot more sides, and a lot more desserts. With a good doctor's report I am just scaling back a little bit. I picked fresh sage and rosemary to put in the turkey for tasty seasonings. Thankfulness, gratitude, hope are all on the menu for me today.

I do lemon meringue that way as well. It will work for most anything.

Yes. At our big get togethers there is often a pie per person it seems.

Enjoy your delicious meal and Happy Thanksgiving! Sage and Rosemary are both delicious and I am sure the turkey will be as well. I'm not having Thanksgiving dinner today.

We eat these dishes pretty often. It was fun to have my own herbs.

@GardenGerty I've reserved these tasty foods for the holidays. I'm sure it's also more cost efficient to grow your own herbs as well, and fresh is always better.

Nope. Each cooked in it's own place. Ridiculous, but what hubby thought he wanted. I wanted to just roast a chicken.

I ran out of energy. Tomorrow I will make a cream gravy with ham in it. Later I will also make turkey gravy. Gravy really is one of my favorite foods.

We are usually in big crowds. I did not need to make all of this but we did and it will not go to waste. I will enjoy many meals from it.

So, basically, you made pumpkin pudding. What about whipped cream on it?
