...crossing my index finger and thumb to all of you, myLotters. This sign gesture is becoming trendy and originated in South Korea. It cannot be denied that some people do this to show their love for others. Why? Because we are practicing social distancing now. Are you one of them? How can you show your love to others? Korea is so far away from Central Europe that I don't see the immediate danger of Korean culture invading this part of the world.

I know of the sign but I don't use it. I feel that I am too old for that

We are still young at heart. We can still do it with the sweetest smile.

I am sure we have so many ways to show our love to others without this gesture. Image Credit: media0.giphy.com

@Shavkat @LadyDuck Seconded! You have to consider the age group. Using hand signs instead of your mouth is a juvenile fad. Besides, South Korean habits don't interest older Europeans not the least bit.

At some point, I am still old school in showing my profound love to others. For some, they tend to be so creative.

At school we have posters up on how to socially distance and say "hello" or "good-bye" or even good job (thumbs up). Wave fingers, bump elbows, anything that keeps our germs to ourself is a way to show love and caring.

Learnt about the gesture for the first time. I will show love to others by wishing them with folded hands the way we do to God.
