November 28 - What I'm Thankful for Today

You never know what will happen from one moment to the next. My son called me this morning and told me he had an accident last night. He slipped on ice and fell on his back. His last phone call said he had 12 x-rays of his back and still waiting for further word about his back. I've been praying all day.
I've been good today. I'm still dealing with my back, but it's been a quiet day here for which I'm thankful.
I'm thankful for the message I put on FB resulted in a friend coming to my aid next week so I can get to my appointments.
I just talked to my son. He fractured the T-12 on his spine in his lower back.
Okay, that's my day. Some good, some bad. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

My back has been hurting when I am at work. The devil seems to be attacking all of our backs lately!

@Spontaneo They gave me Tramadol for pain for my knees. I take it for my back.

So sorry about your son's fracture. That must be very painful. I just prayed for him.
I'm thankful God is in control of our world and praying He will bring His will for us here in the USA to pass and help us all to adjust to it.

Thank you. It's an accident that should never have happened. Some person let water build up in their parking space that turned to ice. It was dark when he happened to step on the unseen ice and he was down. I'll know more tomorrow as he has a follow-up appointment with the doctor.

Oh looks like your son would be in a lot of pain. I wish for his speedy recovery.
Back pain, even if it is not much can be really really troublesome and can even make one cry, as I have experienced personally.
It is good that a friend would come to help you for the next week.
How is your recovery going on as of now?

bless his heart! what a painful ordeal to say the least. sendin' healin' hugs fer him, too.
i'm thankful fer the sunset, which 'twas odd coz the sun'd not shone all day. she popped out from 'hind the clouds though 'n such warmed my heart. drizzle 'n a bit 'f sleet early, moisture much needed. no wind, which 'twas a blessin' 's 't struggled to get to 40 degrees today.
the sky 'twas fabulous'n pinks 'n purples!

Sorry to hear he has a fracture. What can he do for it? Will he have to stay in the hospital? I am happy you have someone who can help get you to your appointments next week.
We watched some Christmas movies this afternoon. It's been a quiet day which are my favorite ones. Have a blessed evening friend.
