Finally, a Cold Day

I can believe we finally, at long last, have a beautiful chilly day, It actually got down to 39 degrees. At this moment in time our thermometer is reading 47 degrees. I have been waiting tor this weather to come visit us. Believe4 it or not, the leaves are still attached to the trees and they are still green. I really miss the brilliant colors of autumn. I am going to enjoy this weather while it lasts. Hope everyone else has a beautiful day to enjoy.

dang, ya should'a come out this way back'n september. ya could'a 'njoyed frigid temps, snow, sleet, ice 'n hail :) e'en with the powerful winds fer months, we've still a brilliantly colored leaf still clingin' tightly to a limb. freezin' here, cold winds, no sunshine.

@HazySue we'd not autumn 'til 'fter the september snow/ice/sleet, lol. now 'tis off/on - frigid cold fer a few days, near 'r 'bove records highs fer a few days. 'fore this last front, the maples 'n bradford pear 'd put'n buds! we're thawin', 'twas most pleasant friday 'fternoon. 'nly needed 3 layers 'f clothin' :)

We didn’t get that much snow, just enough to make an announcement that it had snowed in grassy areas. I fed the squirrels, so they have nothing to complain about! Have a great day!!

What a cute photo. My birds were saying that this morning. We have 33 right now but feels like 27. Most of the leaves are gone, but a few still hanging on. Enjoy your day.
