Need to finally get my hair done

The last time I colored and cut my hair was back in March. I have way too much gray. I think I have more gray now than before the pandemic. Wonder why that is.
And my hair (the shorter strands) keeps getting tangled. Not to mention that a lot of hair is falling out. 
I have to force myself to finally go get my hair done, even if it means spending hundreds of dollars and sitting for hours in a stupid mask.
I am not sure if I should go to the same lady I've been using for years or try my mom's Turkish hairstylist, who I've gone to many years before. That's another reason why I haven't taken the plunge yet.

I haven't had my hair done since March 17th in Florida. My CT hairdresser texted me to tell me how safe his one chair studio in his house breezeway is, but I won't go until the pandemic is over. I do like my new long hair again. It's been years since I wore it long. Hubs loves it! The $2600 I saved is in the bank now.

I finally got my hair done but the lady didn't do a great job. 
And I paid $260 for it.

@freelancermariagrace Yep. I sorta mentioned to her before I left that I see gray and she told me something along the lines of "I told you they weren't gonna color." What I should've done is contact her the day after and told her I don't like what she's done and have her fix it. I didn't. Next time, I think I will try my mom's hairstylist.

I have to get my hair chopped off too but not colored. I have thought about highlights but would have to wait until it's warmer when we have more money. I can afford the cut though if I ever remember to call for an appt.
My hair's been grey for years. I began going grey in my miss twenties.

@lovebuglena that might be a good idea to because I wear a hat in the winter for warmth. I may never do them anyway but it's a consideration.

@LindaOHio For my hair? Nope. Either walk close to an hour to my hairstylist. She does hair at home. Or walk, take a train one stop over, and then walk again to my mom's hairstylist (in a salon). Either way, lots of walking and lots of time to get to either person when by car it is quick.
