Crazy past few days.

I feel like the last few days have been a series of ups and downs. While I didn't do a whole lot, my husband and our cat Mama have been making great strides. He's becoming less and less afraid to pick up, hold and pet her.
Shopping yesterday had gone rather well. Two of the pants I bought didn't fit, but we're making them work. A new goal to work on, I guess. a bit more motivation to up my exercise game. Hey, in a few years... means I won't need anything new for a while. The downside, had to buy the pants and try them on at home because Wal- Mart closed the fitting rooms. Also found out in three weeks they're taking all the McDonold's out of Wal-marts.
Sometimes the world is making me want to shake my head.

Yeah, I get they want crowd control, but they could think of better ways.

Yeah, I know. Personally they should've kept them. I think employees are just become far to lazy. As for the McDonold's I think the brand is hurting. Instead of re-opening dinning rooms, they are cutting losses.

Oh, I know. Rather than having to take the time and gas to take me back to get smaller clothes, my husband and I are just making what we have, work.@RebeccasFarm

Ours have (or I should say had as of next year) Mc Donold's. I hope something else comes along to fill the void. I just pray MCDonold's will survive. They still don't allow indoor dining and now, any MCDonold's located in a Wal-Mart is leaving. Several years ago, without warning, the one in our local mall suddenly vanished. According to mall workers, they just didn't renew the lease.

@kaylachan we have a free standing McDonalds here and of course no inside dining. The choices are either drive thru window or you can use the app, order and they bring it to your car.

Yes, we could. With fitting rooms closed, it just means more miles on the van, more work for us. Rather than go back to Wal-mart wait in line at custmore service, then going back and re-bying clothes and hoping they work (at a possibly higher price) we've decided to make what we bought, work.

No, it's not. Not that it was easy for me to pre-covid. Wal-Mart is good with accessibility, but it still took me a while to change clothes.

@kaylachan you’re allowed in dressing rooms despite covid? Here in the UK they’ve closed the dressing rooms.

Is that because the MacDonald's can't be open even though Walmart is? If so they prob can't afford the rent.
Most during ruins are closed at present. You can return the garments but that's one more step and visit we don't prefer.

How did your new pants go? Did they comfortably fit you?
Realities of life challenge us a lot more than we can bear to fight them through, don't they?

Sounds like Mama cat has been working her way into your husbands heart
So much has changed this year and I wonder if any of it will go back to the way it was once the virus is over.
