December 7 - What I'm Thankful for Today

I'm thankful the world isn't at war as it was when President Roosevelt proclaimed this day would live on in infamy.
I'm thankful my friends and family are healthy at a time when the world faces increasing numbers in a different kind of war - a health war. It will be good when this pandemic is over.
I'm thankful for helpful friends. Everyone needs that special someone they can rely on when the world takes a turn for the worse.
I'm thankful for nature. For beautiful sunrises and sunsets. For birds, animals, fish, and insects that keep nature in balance. For plants of all kinds to keep the earth in balance with oxygen to fill our lungs.
I'm thankful for food, a place to call home, and a bed to sleep in to get a good night's sleep. I got over 9 hours last night. I guess I needed it.
I'm thankful for the medical community that keeps me healthy and on track. I made great progress today with a knee bend at 108 degrees. Only 12 degrees to go.
I'm thankful for my son who is doing my laundry today. His girlfriend picked it up earlier.
I'm thankful for gifts and abilities. I worked on Vendetta today.
What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. I have the notifications finished and will fill the rest of my night with TV. I finished Virgin River earlier on Netflix. I really hope I don't need to wait another year for the next season. It's a very good series.

I am thankful for the good weather that is useful to have clothing go outside and allow the cool wind to dry the wet clothing during the day.

That's great to have all of that to be thankful for! And that's great to hear :) I haven't heard of that show....but I am picky when it comes to shows/movies. I watched House M.D. - that's one of my favorite shows.

i am thankful that the plumber is going to install my toliet tomorrow..and that son sounds like he is realizing Brazil isn't the greatest place in the world.

I'm thankful for decent weather despite the gloomy atmosphere. I'm thankful for air in my lungs and my health. I'm thankful my cats were healthy (or as healthy as they can be)

I'm so thankful that we didn't live in Europe, during WWII. They are still suffering from that frightening hostility, they read about in history books! Some were scarred emotionally, from what happened on their soil.
