Was invited to a birthday celebration at a restaurant

My nephew will have his birthday this month. My cousin invited hubby and I to his birthday celebration at a Russian restaurant. The party will be on a Saturday. Since hubby always works on Saturdays once again I will be attending the gathering by myself.

Also, I will have to get there by public transportation. It will take me two hours, if not slightly longer, to get to the restaurant from my house. Not looking forward to that but I really want to go, so have no choice.

Please be careful as it's a holiday month and there will be more people around in public in general. Our restaurants are only open for take out or deliveries. Stay safe!

I've taken buses before a few times and they were not crowded. Hopefully, the same will happen when I go to the party.

Thank you. I hope that I will end up going. The mayor said he may shut down indoor dining. Hopefully, that will not happen.

Yep. I have no choice if I wanna see them. There is uber but I don't like to take car service, etc. Plus, it is not cheap.
