Do you ever wonder what it would be like to not be a living creature?

Have you ever wondered what ‘life’ would be like if you were not a living animal? If you didn’t have the need to eat, or sleep, or go to the toilet? Just think of all the time that would free up! No more grocery shopping, or cooking, or washing up. Another eight hours available every day; no need for bedrooms in your house. No need for toilet breaks on long journeys. Endurance sports would be a lot easier. It would certainly open up opportunities in space travel!

I can imagine myself even being a plant. But not a rock.

If we were not a living animal, I suppose we could enjoy nothing of life... where is the purpose? I think that good food is one of the pleasure of life, I prefer to keep the chores and continue with my living life.

Yes I did wonder about that - it would be a shame to miss out on the pleasures of good food and of sharing meals with friends and family. What if eating was optional? Then we could still enjoy those events but not have to stop what we were doing every single day.

I have recently dreamed that I was a goldfish, but I think it was because of the lockdown Let's think. I want to be a bitcoin. As there are 100 millions satoshi in 1 bitcoin, I will be virtually able to live 100 millions not-lives at the same time... as long as God will not turn off the power.

Parallel lives, I like that idea a lot! There are so many different things I would like to have done.

I can't simply imagine we aren't a living creature.Doesn't it amount to robot ? The robot needs the energy too.

Yes I guess we would have to be robots, and we would have to get energy from somewhere as you say. Everything is dependent on something!

Not sure what to say here but having more free time would be a great thing.

The trails of the cloud carve out a figure of a duck; probably just a pareidolia.

I've never been much good at seeing shapes in clouds, but yes I guess it could be a duck looking over its shoulder!

Rocks have no consciousness so are not aware. Pretty dull me thinks. I would rather need sleep and bathroom breaks lol

Me too, but sometimes I do find all these 'life tasks' very time-consuming!

interestin' thoughts. a lil confused though coz if'n ya were not a 'living animal' why ya'd be concerned 'bout all those thingies? would'ja e'en possess the ability fer thought't all? one'd need the universe 'tself to move 'bout, no? via air/water currents?

Well I don't know, I guess I mean if you could be a human but without those animal needs. Obviously it isn't possible!

If I wasn't a living animal, I would be an object. That wouldn't be nice. I mean, I like my computer and all, but I wouldn't want to be a computer.

I can imagine myself to be a petunia plant or a lavender. Lavender would be something I would love to be in next birth; provided I get a secluded place to live in(away from humans)

Because sometimes I resent all the time I have to spend eating and sleeping and having to take toilet breaks at inconvenient times and I wonder what life would be like if I didn't need to!

I'd love to be a magnificent boulder watching eons pass as I slumber.
