I'm going skydiving! My 40th birthday is March 1st, and I'm going to go skydiving with my best friend. I've never done anything like it, and cannot wait. She's pretty excited too.
Are you into doing things you've never done? It doesn't have to be skydiving to count.

I’m too afraid of heights to skydive, but I bet it would be fun.

Oh my! I can't imagine sky diving! I'm not much of a risk taker (sometimes I wonder if my grandson is related to me...he has no fear of anything), but let us hear all about it when you go.
I guess the most daring thing I've done is zip lining which was fun.

@AmbiePam I went several years ago with my daughter and granddaughter. Had such a fun time together.

Sometimes I am. You are brave to go sky diving. I would do that, but only with an instructor not as a solo. I had a good friend in HS who broke her leg skydiving...just what you wanted to hear right??lol.

If it is something I feel like I can realistically do, then.... yes. I like to weigh the pros and cons, and if I feel it's worth trying I will.

I tried speed boat once... And I didn't like the experience.
My doctor said my spinal caused the heavy breathing during that time!
I have height phobia. So I guess sky driving will be out of my list. But I wish you good luck. Do they give you some sort of training before the actual trial ?

This is something I never want to do, ever. I'm not sure why, I have no fear of flying. I just think it would be terrifying. Plus I imagine I would die of fright on the way to earth, so I am more than content not to try this. I hope you have fun and enjoy it!

That is AWESOME! I would have wanted to do that in my youth . . . never got around to actually doing it. I would just like to do more traveling period - not just our usual local traveling.
But if I may say, I didn't think you would be turning 40 . . . in your photos you look much younger

Maybe when I was younger I would have considered skydiving but not anymore. I'm sure you'll have a great time and certainly a great way to celebrate #40

@AmbiePam Oh wow! Now that will be an experience you'll never forget! Good for you and your best friend!
I would love to do more new and different things. I'm the type of person who sticks with what I know and stay in my comfort zone but I feel doing more or new things would be good.
Wishing you a great time and wonderful birthday in March!

WOw! I'm happy you're doing it it will be exciting and something you will never forget I'm sure. And kudos to you for planning something big for #40. BTW you are exactly 11 months older. My birthday is on 2/1 and I will be 39 this year.
I love trying new things. :-) Trying to plan what I want to do on my 40th. Still do not know

@AmbiePam Thanks! I hope so. Yknow, as a kid I always wanted a picnic. But up here it's like 30 degrees in Feb. if you're lucky. Who knows. Maybe I will go someplace South and have a picnic. :-)
