Washington DC is a hot mess this afternoon

There is insanity happening in Washington DC this afternoon. Insane Trump supporters were protesting outside Congress and THEN broke into the Capitol building.
Members of Congress have been evacuated. VP Pence was evacuated. These nuts have taken over some of the building. The police and law enforcement have been outnumbered.
So shameful. These people are disgusting.

Sounds Crazy! Times like this I wish I had live tv so I can see what's happening. I have ordered an antenna for my TV and hopefully it will be able to bring in local channels. Right now all I have is streaming services like Hulu and Netflix. Thanks again for the update.

This was a terrible thing that happened, and many need to be held responsible. And I think they will be. But also yesterday we had two new senators elected in Georgia which gives the Democrats control of the Senate. And last night Joe Biden's election was certified by both houses of Congress. In thirteen days we'll have a new President. And Donald Trump's Twitter account was blocked.

The entire world looked up to America as the land of democracy and freedom.
It fought against tyrants and despots but then what a fall - unbelievable.
I think it is the nadir one country can sink to with some not able to accept a basic reality.
Our species is the only one which can self-destruct and never thought this could happen in the most advanced country which used to set things right in many others. I would say it has lost its moral compass.

The thing that happened in our nation's capitol was appalling to be sure, and in no way do I support what happened. But I do seriously question whether or not all of these people were Trump supporters. Too much has gone on in the past with funding from Antifa and George Soros, and watching the people who attended Trump's rallies, and watching THESE people presents a serious question as to who these people really are. As much of this election has indicated, a lot of things do not add up for me.
So, I am viewing this not as the way the media wishes to present it to me, but with a discerning eye.
