Where did that come from? / myLot

I do not subscribe to any magazines, because if I really want to read them I will read them at the library. As I said, I do not subrscribe to magazines, but in my mail I got an HGTV magazine. I think the magazine is trying to lure me with a free sample. I have entered HGTV contests in the past and I believe that is how the got my name and mailing address.

I've been getting a quilting magazine for about a year and a half now. No clue who gifted it to me.

Oh really? Which one? I have signed up on a few quilting groups on Facebook and there are places that want to sell me quilting magazines.

@GardenGerty American Patchwork Quilting I suspect it could have been sent by one of my sisters, though if they did, they didn't say anything to me about it. Love looking through it, though its been awhile since I've had time to do any quilting. I used to pay a good friend of mine used to do the ACTUAL quilting, with her machine (I just pieced it together how I liked) but she retired from quilting...since then I just sorta, stopped. But there are a lot of neat patterns I'd still like to try.

I do, on occasion, get a subscription for myself. One of my favorites is "Mother Earth News".

I got the HGTV magazine for free for six months because at the time Coke did points, and you could cash them in for a free magazine. They don't do it anymore though.

No, I do not buy magazines. Hubby has been. He hates to get rid of them when they are done. I get all the ideas I need online.

I don't subscribe to any magazines either. I already get magazines and newsletters from organisations/charities that I support or belong to, and I don't have enough time to read all those!
