Good morning from this side of the planet. It's 10 AM and it's my first morning break after two hours of continuous sessions. I will take my hot cup of coffee in a while. It's cloudy and cold and a hot drink is always welcome.
I have a break for 4 hours... Yes that's a long break and then post lunch I have my last session from 1:40 to 2:40. That's all for work at school and then I have the evening tuition class from 4_5.
Physical school has started in our school for 10 and 12 graders. We are calling them in batches to ensure social distancing and safety measures in place. Also we don't call them for long hours as staying in mask for long is not good for anyone. All this needs a lot to be done on logistics part by the admin of school keeping the resources in mind. So running physical classes and virtual classes together means a lot of shuffle in time table. And teachers are parents too. So we need to accomodate that too.
My elder daughter will be called from 20 Jan onwards on certain days for her practical sessions and offline exams. Since school transport is not going to be operational and public transport is not safe, parents will end up driving them. So I have to adjust a lot with my class timings keeping all in mind. Well, I am not there in the list of teachers who need to be there in physical school for this month. I might get few days in a week starting February.
Yesterday we had a meeting in our apartment. I am a part of garden enthusiastic group who also take care of landscaping and beauty around our complex. As all celebrations were cancelled, we have enough funds to revamp our landscape. As such due to pandemic and lockdown, our landscape got ignored. So you see in picture, ideas that were finalized. We have quite a few old tyres that can be used. 
I think it's gorgeous. 
. And these will be the views from my balconies and terrace too. .Guess! I am going to have better view. The current view is also pleasing but a better change and beautification is always welcome

@hereandthere It's not my personal garden. It's a public property and all residents can give their suggestions. Yes, I am in the team that would supervise it happening.

@arunima25 We are not allowed to use tires for gardening here and to grow vegetables they are dangerous. . Tires contain plenty of chemicals and metals as they gradually erode and break down, they release those chemicals into the environment. Do not use tires to grow vegetables.

I hope that's a reality soon. I will get this view from my work table and that would be so soothing.
Judy has mentioned that she used tyres to grow potatoes and she got a good crop.
I think it's a wonderful way to reuse and upgrade old tyres.

@LadyDuck I was thinking about same thing. I will not grow any edible plants there. Thanks for reaffirming that.
What about these landscaping and decorative plants?? It should be a good use of them. Right?

That's the finalised plan. Different residents shared their ideas and this is what we finally nailed down. Work will start after pongal. It will be good if we get such landscape. Even now it's a beautiful green patch with seasonal flowers and ornamental plants.

@msdivkar I just have a terrace garden in my penthouse and some pots in my balconies. We have some landscaping patches around our apartment. We have beautiful ambience here.

Actually, there are so many ideas there when you search them. And it really bewilders me how creative one can beI am just happy that a lot can be recycled and updated.Way to make Mother Nature happy and beautiful.

This is the plan we finalized for . Work will start from 15th Jnauary. At present also it's a beautiful landscape but we now want some changes. I am in the team that takes care of these things in our apartment. It's a team work.

It would be great if the final work turns out to be this good. This is a proposed plan and the work will begin after mid-January around 15th Jan.
